Biography
Graduated from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in 1965, from the painting and graphic arts department in the studio of Professor Artur Nacht-Samborski. He works in painting and drawing. The space in his paintings is associated with the theater: figures from the Venetian carnival, colorful gypsies, pierrots, or figures in white masks and black cloaks, characteristic of Venetian New Year's games. They are captured in motion, full of expression. Despite the theatricality, the color scheme of the works is quite dark: blacks, grays and beiges dominate, with the only vivid accent being an extremely saturated red. The delicate lithographs and the paintings, full of color and expression, contrast extremely well with each other, creating an original whole.
