Painter and printmaker. Between 1906 and 1917, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in the studio of Leon Wyczółkowski and Józef Mehoffer. He was a member of the Zachęta Group and belonged to the ZPAP. In his work, he most readily took up the subject of Tatra landscapes, painted portraits, from graphic techniques he practiced woodcut.
