Karl Rohrhirsch - German painter, associated with the Munich school. He was probably self-taught; in 1891, on the occasion of his registration in Munich, he described himself as a "painter's assistant". For years he lived and worked in Munich, only settling in Greding in 1927. He mostly painted small, detailed pictures depicting idyllic landscapes with genre scenes - usually with harvesters or mail carts.
