At the Cracow academy, he studied intermittently from 1924 to 1932, with Wł. Jarocki, W. Weiss and T. Axentowicz, and at the same time went on landscapes with Felicjan Kowarski and Stanisław Kamocki. After graduation, he worked as a draftsman-drawer at the Lodz P.A.S.T. He was constantly creating, which, in addition to his professional work, was an additional source of income. The occupation years he worked in the Lodz Jacquards as a textile designer. After the war, he was a lecturer of drawing and painting at the Teachers' College and a decorator for the city of Lodz. He made a stained-glass window in the hall of the P.R.N. m-Lodz and designed Marshal Roli-Żymierski's mace. He designed occasional decorations, interior decorations for theaters, philharmonics, hotels, cinemas, pharmacies and provided artistic supervision over their execution. He designed a horticultural exhibition in Poznan.
