Emil KRCHA

Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under the direction of T. Axentowicz, S. Kamocki, I. Pieńkowski. He lived and worked in Paris for several years, and here in 1931 had his first solo exhibition at the Zborowski Gallery. He was a member of the Zwornik Association of Artists, which brings together colorists. He painted landscapes, genre scenes, portraits, still lifes, reached for watercolor and drawing. After the war, he was engaged in teaching at the Academy of Fine Arts in Wroclaw, and continued his work at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow.
