Atelier of a restorer and reconstructor of historical militaria
We would like to invite you to a unique auction of an atelier of a conservator and reconstructor of historical militaria with full equipment and one month of training.
The current owner of the atelier is a conservator and reconstructor with many years of experience, working with collectors, reconstruction groups, and TVP Historia, among others. Due to his age and health, he can no longer continue his work - which is also his life's passion - and wants to pass on his experience and working tools to the next generation of enthusiasts.
The subject of the auction is: full equipment of the atelier (tools, objects in it). The current owner provides a month's training (ideally, the person wishing to take over the atelier should therefore have experience in manul work).
Among the tools offered are:
- small hand tools of the jewelry and dental-prosthetic type,
- locksmith and carpentry tools,
- machine tools (table lathe-milling machine, table column drilling machine, table grinders, angle grinders, disc and drum polishers)
- welding machines, etc.
The atelier is also equipped with specialized equipment, such as:
- furnace for melting non-ferrous metals (crucible capacity of 5 kg),
- vacuum chamber for casting,
- vacuum chamber for venting the casting mass,
- centrifugal casting machine for jewelry-prothetics,
- oven for annealing cuvettes,
- propane-butane-oxygen welding set for soldering and melting.
Metal casting can be carried out by the traditional "in the sand" method or by the lost-wax method.
A set of electroplating baths allows for the production of ornamental elements by the electroforming method using a rectifier power supply. Decorative elements from available molds can be cast from metals, resin, plaster (e.g., ceramic), and can also be patinated or painted. Any design or inscription can be etched using the available reagents.
