From 1909 to 1910 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Leon Wyczółkowski; he also studied at the Jagiellonian University. Between 1911 and 1914 he exhibited at the Zachęta Gallery in Warsaw. In 1912-1914, his works were reproduced in magazines. During the interwar period, he lived in Cracow. He was a member of ZZPAP from 1933. He exhibited in Cracow at the House of the Artist (1921), at the Society of Friends of Fine Arts (1926), at the premises of ZZPAP (1928, 1939). The National Museum in Cracow has two paintings (oils) depicting Hutsul women; the National Museum in Warsaw has Zaprzęg (1922, oil), and Sanie na polnej drodze (1931, oil).
