Early oil work by Poznan painter and organizer of local artistic life Zygfryd Wieczorek (1911 -1980). He began his studies in Warsaw in the studio of Tadeusz Pruszkowski and continued them after the war, receiving his diploma in 1948 in the studio of Felicjan Szczęsny Kowarski. In Poznań, where he continued his artistic path, he was associated with the avant-garde group 4F+R. He was a long-time lecturer at the local Academy of Fine Arts and High School of Fine Arts. He made numerous contributions to the organization of Poznan's plastic and artistic community.
