Biography
She began studying painting with Milosz Kotarbinski. From 1904 she studied with Karol Tichy at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw, and in 1910-12 she continued her studies at the School of Decorative Arts in Dresden. In December 1912, she left for Paris permanently. The reason for this was the emotional disappointment suffered from the poet Kazimierz Przerwy-Tetmajer. Since the end of World War I, she made frequent artistic trips - to the south of France, Spain, Italy, Tunis and Algeria. She exhibited a lot, primarily in Paris - at the Salons, the Barbazages Gallery, the Montaigne Gallery and the Galerie d'Olympia. The artist's work is dominated by portraits, genre studies and flowers. A separate group of works are compositions with exotic themes inspired by the world of the Orient.
