Biography
In 1887 889 he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow with Florian Cynk and Władysław Łuszczkiewicz. In 1893 he began studying painting in Vienna in the studio of Christian Griepenkerl. In 1898 he traveled through Italy and Dalmatia. In 1908 he settled in Zakopane and since then painted mainly Tatra landscapes. He belonged to the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts, where his posthumous exhibition was held in 1931.
