Biography
Satirical cartoonist and caricaturist. Excellent creator of portrait caricatures of famous people - among others, he is the author of a portfolio of drawings and 2 albums devoted to Jozef Pilsudski. He studied painting under K. Sichulski and F. Legér. Since 1920, he published his drawings in "Szczutek" and later also cooperated with many other magazines, including "Cyrulik Warszawski" and "Wiadomosci literackie". He was also a painter, cartoonist and novelist. A few years before the outbreak of World War II, he emigrated to England and then went to the United States (1941), where his work appeared in leading American periodicals - Fortune Magazine, Look, Life.
