Painter, student of the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow in the studios of Cynk, Stanislawski, Wyczółkowski and Malczewski. He continued his studies in Paris at the Académie des Beaux Art and in Vienna. He lived in Prague, Paris and from 1920 in Cracow. He spent the years of World War II in Palestine, among other places. He was a member of the Vienna Secession, the Czech Society of Artists "Manes", and the Society of Polish Artists "Sztuka". In his painting he was clearly inspired by the work of Malczewski. His works are usually placed in the Polish landscape religious scenes, symbolic compositions with folk motifs, portraits.
