The painting was originally the middle part of the triptych "Two Roads" (press photo at the end).
Exhibited: "Native Art" association exhibition from February 15 to March 8, 1923 at the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts.

Collection of Stanislaw Kobiela (1892-1942), lawyer, Cracow (Wielopole 7);
Stolen during World War II;
recovered two of the three quarters of the triptych by his wife Michalina (née Jastrzębska) and daughter Krystyna Krzystek-Walka (1924-2002);
stolen from the apartment in 2002 after the death of Krystyna Krzystek-Walka;
found at an auction in Warsaw in 2004 and restored to the family.
