"Wojtkiewicz's only composition referring_x0002_to Shakespeare's work, pre_x0002_representing the tragic and lonely figure of Hamlet, was created in Cracow in 1906 and was exhibited that same year at the Perpetual Exhibition of the Society of Friends of Fine Arts. It was then presented in Paris (1907) at a solo exhibition at Galerie Druet, where it was sold."
