Wincenty Wodzinowski (1866-1940) - a prominent Polish painter and educator, associated with Krakow's artistic circles at the turn of the 20th century. He graduated from the Cracow School of Fine Arts, where he studied under Jan Matejko, and later studied in Paris. He specialized in portraiture, historical painting and genre scenes, often inspired by the life of the Polish countryside and patriotic events.
