Biography
Wawrzyniec Chorembalski graduated from the Warsaw School of Fine Arts in 1913, and then went on to study at the École des Beaux Arts in Paris. His painting conforms to the conventions of realist art. He was a member of the following art groups: The Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts, the "Encouragement" group, and the "Team." He exhibited a lot, before the war in "Zachęta", after 1945 in many Polish cities. Chorembalski's works are in the collections of the National Museum in Warsaw and the Historical Museum of the City of Warsaw.
