Biography
In 1905-09 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with J. Mehoffer. He spent the years 1909-1913 in Paris, where he copied paintings by old masters from the Louvre collection. From 1927-1933 he taught painting and composition at the Institute of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He was co-founder and president of the "Rhythm" group, and also belonged to the TAP "Art". He was involved in monumental and easel painting and lithography. In his paintings he combined tendencies towards cubic geometrization with elements of classicism.
