Wiktor Korecki (1890 Kamieniec Podolski - 1980 Milanówek)Polish painter famous for his atmospheric landscapes. most often wetlands and winter views bathed in sunlight. He acquired his workshop in Kiev, where he studied at the Drawing School of Nikolai Murashka. His further life was connected with Warsaw, where he participated in exhibitions of the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts. The capital was also home to the master's studio, which, along with most of his works, was burned during the Warsaw Uprising, while the artist himself was deported to a forced labor camp in Leipzig.
