Architect and painter. He began his architectural studies in Vienna under K. Konig and completed them in Lviv under J. Zachariewicz. His architectural work was eclectic in nature, combining elements of Art Nouveau, Historicism and Modernism. He is considered one of the most important Polish architects of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Less well known is his work as a painter. He painted mainly watercolors with architectural motifs, which he exhibited at TPSP in Krakow.
