Painter associated with Lodz; member of the Association of Polish Artists since 1950. He painted historicizing genre, hunting and battle scenes often inspired by Sienkiewicz's "Trilogy". He also created portraits, landscapes and engaged in book illustration. A large group of the artist's works was presented at his posthumous retrospective exhibition held at the BWA in Lodz in 1983. The artist's paintings can be found in the collections of the Museum of the Polish Army in Warsaw, the Provincial Office in Lodz and in numerous private collections.
