Biography
From 1905 to 1910 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow with K. Laszczka, and from 1918 to 1920 he trained with W. Weiss. He continued his studies in Vienna with E. Gerisch, in Paris with J. Pankiewicz and in Italy. He was a member of the "Jednoróg" and "Zwrotnik" groups. He exhibited his works at TPSP in Cracow, among others. He was also active in teaching, lecturing at Jagiellonian University and the Cracow Polytechnic. He was also involved in sculpture, stage design, and was an art critic, writer and musician. He was influenced by French Impressionism and Cubist style. The subjects of his works were landscapes, still lifes and portrait studies.
