Biography
Stanisław Żurawski graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, where he studied under Jozef Mehoffer and Wojciech Weiss between 1907 and 1913. He was a member and at the same time co-founder of the Artists' Guild "Jednoróg". The most common motif of his paintings, characterized by vivid colors, were nudes, mainly against a landscape background, as well as independent landscapes, still lifes and portraits.
