Stanislaw STUDENCKI

1900 Nowy Sacz - 1944

Studencki studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow from 1921-26, and was a member of the Association of Polish Artists from 1933. Studencki was fond of battle themes, military parades and horse silhouettes. He also made a number of images of Marshal Pilsudski. The artist succumbed to his fascination with the work of Wojciech Kossak, in whose studio he painted for several years.
