The artist was a talented disciple of Jan Stanislawski and a representative of the Cracow landscape school. The offered work is an excellent example of his talent. Kamocki was a great lover of nature, including rural views from around Krakow. The fact that the artist painted exclusively outdoors gives his landscapes, including the work "On the Meadow," a special quality of capturing the painter's impressions at the moment of observing nature.
