Painter, associated with the Krakow artistic community, vice president of the local TPSP (1912-1918). In 1877-1883 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow, continued his studies at the Munich academy in the atelier of Otto Seitz. In 1886 he traveled in Italy, and upon his return settled in Cracow. He taught painting at the A. Baraniecki Higher Courses for Women. Best known for his religious cycles and allegorical compositions, he also painted landscapes and portraits of young women, using oil and pastel techniques.
