PAUL SIEFFERT [1874-1957].
He was born in Paris. He began his painting studies at the Paris Academy, in the studio of Gérome. From 1894 he exhibited his works at the Salon . In 1902 he won the Grand Prix de Rome, and in 1937 he won a major award. He was a member of the Association of French Artists, and chaired many committees. He became famous primarily for his portraits and female nudes and stained glass. His works are in museum collections in Dijon, Nimes, Calais, La Havre and Dinan.
