Biography
Studied at the Warsaw Drawing Class under W. Gerson and A. Kaminski and at the School of Fine Arts in Cracow under J. Matejko and L. Loeffler. Trumpeter's work exhibits historical realism, evident in "salon" scenes, landscapes and portraits, as well as Jewish-themed compositions. For many years his work was influenced by the Munich school.
