Biography
He studied with J. Katzenbogen in Lodz. In 1908 he went to Paris, from where he often came to Poland. In 1921 he participated in the Exhibition of Jewish Art in Lodz and in the exhibition of Jewish artists in Warsaw. In the same year, he took part in a show of Polish art at the Salon de la Societé Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris. Since 1939, he has lived in the United States. He is best known for his interwar work associated with the post-impressionist trend of the École de Paris. He painted landscapes and portraits.
