olej, płótno, 35,5 x 51 cm, sygn. p.d.: Leonard Winterowski Warszawa 1924.

Malarz, uczeń krakowskiej SSP w pracowniach L. Loefflera i T. Axentowicza (1894-1895), studia kontynuował w Wiedniu. Początkowo mieszkał we Lwowie, podczas I wojny przeniósł się do Warszawy. Poza najchętniej podejmowaną tematyką batalistyczną malował architekturę, sceny rodzajowe, pejzaże. W latach 1912-1913 artysta wykonał polichromię we wnętrzu kolegiaty w Jarosławiu.
