Biography
Kazimierz Wąsowicz studied at the Higher School of Industry and the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1908 - 12). He continued his artistic studies in Paris at the Academie de Beaux - Arts. He was a co-founder of the General Association of Visual Artists in Cracow in 1910 and the Podhale Association of Polish Visual Artists in Zakopane. He painted landscapes, often of the Zakopane and Podhale region, portraits and battle scenes. He was also engaged in printmaking, mainly lithography.
