Biography
According to Majkowski, from 1904 he studied at the Munich academy under H. Gröber and R. Schramm - Zittau; listed as a regular member of the Munich Kunstverein in 1906- 07 and 1909- 12. From 1915 he lived in Switzerland, and from 1919 in Poland (including Warsaw, Lidzbark, Poznan, Nekla, Kazimierz Biskupi near Konin). Since 1922 he was a member of the Poznan group of artists "Dawn" , and in 1936, 1938 and 1939 he was listed among the members of the Group of Wielkopolska Artists "Plastics". He exhibited at the Warsaw Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts in 1914, 1920. (a collection of works), in the Society of Friends of Fine Arts in Poznań, in Vilnius (1915), in Bydgoszcz (1936), as well as in Prague in 1934. He was primarily a landscape painter; he also painted flowers ("Lion's Mouth", "Thistles", both exhibited in 1927) and portraits.
