Biography
Studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow (1879-89) and at the Munich academy under Karl Raupp (1888-90). He painted primarily portraits, as well as genre scenes, sometimes tinged with political and social content, and compositions with elements of fantasy, based on the motifs of fairy tales and folk tales. He was one of the co-creators of the panorama "Tatra Mountains" (1895) exhibited in Warsaw.
