Biography
In 1866-69 he studied at the Academy in Vienna, then went to Munich for a short time. In the same year he began working as a drawing teacher. Initially in Sniatyn, then in Drohobych and Cracow. From 1877 he was a professor of drawing at the Higher Real School in Stryj, and from 1893 at the First Higher Real School in Cracow. He exhibited at TPSP in Cracow and Lviv, as well as at TZSP and IPS in Warsaw. He painted religious paintings, flowers, portraits, landscapes, genre scenes, also from the lives of peasants, including the very popular Krakow weddings.
