1871 Mondfeldt - 1930 MunichGerman painter and printmaker. At the turn of the century he did illustrations for Meggendorfer-Blätter, Jugend and Simplicissimus. From 1909, Impressionism became increasingly important in his work. In 1915 he became a professor, Academy of Fine Arts in Munich. In 1923, he moved to Berlin. In 1928 he returned to Munich. He was a talented painter, illustrator and caricaturist who was quick to capture human characters
