Painter and educator. He began his painting studies in Moscow and St. Petersburg, and from 1915 to 1921 continued them in the studio of W. Weiss at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. From 1918 he showed his works in exhibitions; from 1919 to 1922 he exhibited three times with the avant-garde group Formists. From 1921 to 1923, he was on scholarship in Paris, and upon his return worked as a teacher of drawing in Cracow. After World War II, he became a professor of painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. Fedkowicz's painting initially underwent various influences and transformations - from the school of W. Weiss, through contacts with the Formists. In the mature phase of his work, color became a fundamental value for the artist.
