Against a dark brown background, standing on a stone slab, a vase with a putti frieze, containing a magnificent flower arrangement consisting of, among other things: Roses, tulips, field bindweed, daffodils, anemone and red Turk's cap. The light falls on the flowers from the left, highlighting them and the edge of the stone slab against the dark background. Both in style and brushwork, the present painting is a good example of the artist's art from around 1695, when he was active in Great Britain. (1402325) (18)
