1888 Jaslo - 1935 Cracow
Studied at the Cracow Academy of Fine Arts under Stanislaw Debicki and Jacek Malczewski. In 1911 he went to Paris, and in later years stayed in Warsaw, Prague, Lviv and Vilnius. He was a soldier of the Polish Legions, which influenced the subject matter of his works. In 1933 he became a member of the Artists' Section of the Legionary Union in Cracow.
