Biography
He was a student of Jacek Malczewski at the Academy of Fine Arts in Krakow. He supplemented his painting studies in Paris. After returning to Poland, he became permanently associated with Lodz. He belonged to the Association of Artists and Lovers of the Visual Arts Start. He exhibited in Cracow, Lodz, Lublin and Warsaw. Before 1933, his works were exhibited in Paris at Galerie Art et Artistes Polonais. He painted mainly cityscapes and still lifes, often studies of people close to him. Works with landscape motifs from visits to Kazimierz Dolny on the Vistula River have also survived.
