Heinz Flockenhaus - German painter, representative of the Dusseldorf school. He was born in Ramscheid in 1856, died in 1919 or 1921. Düsseldorf. Known primarily for his landscapes, in which the influences of Dutch painting (Flockenhaus stayed for some time in Holland) and Impressionism are mixed. He primarily depicted landscapes of the Netherlands and his native Rhineland.
