Gustav Wilhelm Ferdinand Rienäcker (Blankenburg 1861 - Munich 1935) was a German painter and professor of art in Munich. He was a sudent of the Academy of Fine Arts in Düsseldorf from 1882 to 1884, where his teachers were Heinrich Lauenstein, Hugo Crol and Adolf Schill. He also studied at the Akdaemia of Fine Arts in Antwerp and the Royal Adaemia of Fine Arts in Brussels. At the end of the 19th century he stayed in Munich, where he taught painting at the Academy of Fine Arts. Rienäcker was a well-known portraitist, in addition to painting landscapes and still lifes. He exhibited several times at Munich's Glass Palace (in 1904, 1906, 1907, 1908, 1909, 1911 and 1929). Some of his paintings are in public collections.
