Franciszek MĄCZYŃSKI, Monastery of the Bernardine Fathers in Kalwaria Zebrzydowska

Architect, conservationist. Student and collaborator of Slawomir Odrzywolski, later Karol Stryjeński. He received further training in Vienna and Paris, as well as from Konstanty Laszczka at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow. He designed buildings and interiors, such as the decoration of the Michalikowa Den, stained glass windows (he served as artistic director at the Zeleński factory).
