Eugeniusz Dzierżencki - Polish marine painter, associated with the Sopot artistic community. In 1924-1925, he studied at the Warsaw School of Fine Arts in the studio of Prof. Władysław Skoczylas and Leon Wyczółkowski. Then, after interrupting his studies, he moved to Gdynia. He painted the sea, fishing boats, ships, beaches and steep shores. In the mid-1930s, he started coming to the Polish Coast. He frequented Karwia, Jastrzębia Góra, Lisi Jar, and held exhibitions of his paintings for vacationers in Kuźnica and Jastarnia. After the war, he settled in Sopot. In mid-1945, together with a group of artists who came to the Coast, which included Ignacy Klukowski, Antoni Suchanek, Maksymilian Kasprowicz, he organized the Gdynia branch of the Association of Polish Artists.
