Biography
She studied in Vienna, Paris, London and Berlin. She was influenced by Cubism and the Der Blaue Reiter group. In 1926 she became a member of the avant-garde Berlin association November Gruppe. From 1931 she studied at the Académie de la Grande Chaumiere in Paris, while simultaneously working as a respected interior decorator. From 1934, she exhibited at the Salon d'Automne with André Lhote. Her works were included in many collections in Europe. In 1941, after the Germans invaded Paris, she fled to Provence. She exhibited at the Salon des Indépendants in 1946, the Salon des Réalités Nouvelles in 1953 and the Salon des Surindépendants in 1956.
