Painter and teacher. educated at the Drawing School of W. Gerson in Warsaw (1900-1905). He continued his education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Cracow under Teodor Axentowicz (1908-1911), at the French Academy in Rome (1911-1912), studied in Paris (1912/1913), and traveled extensively. After returning to Poland in 1918, he settled in Warsaw, from where he moved to Lowicz after a year. He taught drawing at the Rev. J. Poniatowski Gymnasium and High School in Lowicz (1919-1939), during the Second World War he taught in common schools, after the war he was a teacher in middle and high schools until 1947. From 1930 he was a member of the Society for the Encouragement of Fine Arts, where he had several exhibitions. He painted oil and watercolor paintings: landscapes, genre scenes, portraits, religious paintings, and carried out public commissions for the authorities, the army, and schools. The collection of the Łowicz museum contains more than a dozen paintings by him, including views of Łowicz and Arcadia, portraits (including family portraits).
