Biography
He studied at a drawing school in Vilnius. In 1908-13 he studied at the Cracow academy under Teodor Axentowicz and Leon Wyczółkowski. He spent World War I in the Caucasus. After returning to Poland in 1919, he settled in Warsaw, later moved to Vilna, and in late 1945, as a repatriate, settled in Gdansk. He exhibited in Vilnius, Warsaw, Lublin, Cracow, Poznan and Lvov. An individual exhibition of the artist's works was held in 1956 in Gdansk. He painted mainly landscapes, city views and portraits.
