Diakov 1132.8 R1; Bitkin (Medals) 1099.6.   LIVA Christian — 39th Siberian Rifle Regiment, Rifleman. For the actions during the night of December 14-15, 1916, when, as part of a night reconnaissance mission, he penetrated the rear of enemy positions and, in combat engagement (with enemy forces estimated by captured prisoners to number two companies), captured three operational machine guns and 20 prisoners from the 9th Reserve German Regiment. The remaining enemy forces were dispersed, with part of them being eliminated in a bayonet clash.ЛИВА Христиан — 39 Сибирский стр. полк, стрелок. За то, что в ночь с 14-го на 15.12.1916, будучи в ночной разведке, проник в тыл расположения противника и в боевом столкновении с ним (силы которого по показанию пленных определялись в две роты), захватил три действующих пулемета и 20 пленных, 9-го резервного немецкого полка, рассеяв остальных немцев, часть которых была уничтожена в штыковой схватке.
