In the early days the regiment was stationed in Lukow and Grodno, and was eventually dislocated in the garrison of Yaroslavl.
The badge is formed by a cavalry cross on whose shoulders are inscribed the initials of the 3rd Legion Infantry Regiment [PPL]. In the center in a laurel wreath inscribed number 3 made of gold. On the obverse one can see enameled arms in yellow and blue. Between the arms of the cross one can see white enameled joints of the arms, in which the names of the cities are inscribed ( Minsk, Kaniów, Borysów, Molotkow ).The badge is two-part, joined by pins visible on the reverse.
