Ewa Jaros was born in 1984 in Zgierz, Poland. She graduated from Art History at the University of Lodz in 2007 (specializing in Art Criticism) and in the same year began her doctoral studies dedicated to the history of Polish artistic jewelry at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Warsaw. For many years she ran a showroom with French furniture in Warsaw. Seeking a form of artistic expression, she also engaged in "cake art," decorating cakes. After working for many years in interior design and furniture design, she returned to painting as a form of expression. She deals mainly with abstract painting, and is fascinated by color and form. The artist's main inspiration remains nature, especially water. The most important thing, however, always remains color, its relationships and nuances, hence, as she says, she is closest to the colorists. To date, she has had several solo exhibitions in Poland, and has participated in group exhibitions in Salzburg, Madrid and New York. Her works are in private collections in Poland and abroad, including Germany, Switzerland, Great Britain and Canada.
