Biography
Graduated from the High School of Fine Arts in Lublin in 1995 with a specialization in woodcarving. Studied 1996-2001 at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń, majoring in Graphic Arts. Diploma with honors in 2001, awarded the Tymon Niesiolowski Medal for the best art diploma. Since 2002, lecturer at the Department of Graphic Arts at his alma mater in Torun, currently a professor at the university. Works in the field of painting, artistic graphics, also deals with visual automatic poetry. Works awarded and honored in competitions, including an award in the XII Józef Gielniak International Competition, an honorable mention in the 7th Polish Graphics Triennial, or the 10th Quadriennial of Polish Woodcut and Linocut. His works are in the public collections of Gallery 72 Museum in Chelm, Center for Contemporary Art in Torun, District Museum in Bydgoszcz, District Museum in Torun, Karkonosze Museum in Jelenia Gora, and in private collections at home and abroad. His artistic output includes more than a dozen individual exhibitions (Gallery 72, Chelm; Wozownia Toruñ; Spodki Gallery Białystok; Farbiarnia Warsaw) and about 200. collective exhibitions, such as: Gallery 72 - 50 years of shaping space for art - 1972-2022 and Different attitudes - four spaces.
