Szymon KURPIEWSKI (b. 1984), Cinnamon bun, 2022

Born in Konin in 1984. Studied at UP in Poznań at the Faculty of Landscape Architecture from 2008 to 2013. In his work he focuses on oil painting. He builds space in his latest works based on the principle of collage. He moves mainly within the framework of classical painting. He often contrasts content with form. Remaining faithful to painting, however, he often reaches for other media, including photography and computer graphics. His paintings are in private collections at home and abroad.
